The motorcycle in our bedroom
Latifa and two of her siblings sleep in a room of a crowded house filled with many brothers and sisters. The room also is used to store the motorcycle of Latifa's late father, who passed away in 2003. In all, Latifa's father gave birth to nine children from three different mothers. When they were alive, the parents all lived together as one family. There was an extremely difficult period of time, after all the parents died, where Latifa remembers staying at home for days at a time without food or clean clothes. Reencontro has helped bring stability, structure, and basic necessities back into her home life.

I wouldn't have known this was a bedroom without reading the text but the expressions on all three people are intense - it looks like the place has meaning. The light is amazing, espeically picking up the pattern on the pants of the young man on the left. Great photo.
