Russell Baer

Professional Photographer Russell Baer has photographed many of the world’s most famous faces throughout his career. His celebrity portraits have appeared in most major magazines today including Time, People, Cosmopolitan, Esquire, and Newsweek. His work has appeared in many shows throughout the United States and Canada. He has been an active volunteer and youth mentor with Venice Arts for the past six years teaching photography to kids of all ages. Most recently, he received the award of honor from the Mayor of Los Angeles for his work with his students in Venice. This marks his first visit to Africa working with the people of Mozambique.

When my parents died some neighbors and family abandoned us, although some are still supportive, but it is different than before. Now, my family will say hello in the street, but they will not come into our home. I asked my Uncle, why doesn’t anyone visit us? Why won’t people visit?
