Translation from Portuguese to English:

For me, the workshop was very constructive because I had the opportunity to learn the "secret" that exists behind the camera, how a simple click might be decisive to take a photograph, how the light can influence negatively and positively, how a picture might be very important to the life of a person, and how, in a case like this where we have these kids, through a simple photo they have the opportunity to have a bright smile and show the world the difficult life they have. It might be an example to thousands of people that despite the suffering endured by these kids, life goes on and that hope is the last thing to die.

This course is very important in my own work because now I will have the opportunity to document our theatre piece. Photography skills will help me advocate children's rights, and show that the children have a passion for photography. The photograph is a very important document, and it's more important than a piece of paper. Photographs will say a lot to the thousands of people and they will stay alive forever.
