The house is small - in Cape Town

A Venice Arts crew of photographers went to South Africa in 2006 to teach photography skills to 15 HIV positive women, recent moms, or moms-to-be, who reside in the townships of Cape Town. These extraordinary women documented their lives and shared their stories.

In this web video, listen to project organizers talk about the teaching experience, and view scenes of the women at work photographing their life in their homes and neighborhoods. For more images and stories, visit the project website.

I want the world to see my photos and to come and see me, to see that I am a good friend and have a warm heart.
